I get so excited when I stumble upon a new blog that makes me just “ooh” and “ahh.” My latest find is just darling! Cake Ink, a darling paper goods and dessert company out of Australia, does it all from wedding invites, décor, and my favorite, cake! They also create and sell party packs on their Etsy store to help you have the best well appointed celebration, ever.

{ideas & Inspiration} Vintage Stamp Cake Garland

This is thinking out side the box as its best! How sweet is this Etsy find? You may have also seen it featured in Martha Stewart’s Wedding magazine. Vintage stamps are cut into flags and wrapped around wedding cake as garland. How very clever, no? The minute I saw this I fell in head over heels love!

When I first came across the Etsy store Concarta, I thought to myself, “How clever!” In the Spanish language, “con carta” means “with paper.” That is exactly what these cake toppers are made of, paper.

We all love discovering new wedding dress designers, but I especially love discovering them on Etsy. There is always a revolving list of designers and one can never tire of the amazing talent to be found.

My latest discoveries are the dresses designed by Lily Kate. The dresses featured in her store on Etsy, Phenomenal Couture, are made of the most eye-catching fabrics. Satin and chiffon are adorned with flora and ribbons to create swoon worthy one of a kind designs. Phenomenal Couture’s dresses are not only elegant; they are perfect for the bride who is looking for je ne sais quoi.

Wedding Dress Spotlight – Joan Shum

Wedding Dress Pick – Week # 45

I usually do not comment on the dresses that I pick for the Wedding Dress Spotlight feature because they are all beautiful. However, the moment I laid eyes on this dress, by Etsy shop owner and dress designer Joan Shum, I fell in love. Everyone knows when I fall in love, I have to tell the world! Well, eventually.

This strapless tea length dress is reminiscent of the dresses worn in the 1950’s. Made of white lace, detailed with silver cording throughout, a light blue lining is placed underneath the lace to further enhance the dress’ details. A vintage brooch is then added to give the dress the perfect finishing touch. Enchanting, is it not?

I am over the moon with my latest Etsy discovery! Etsy never ceases to amaze me…and this find does not disappoint!

Who would have thought a simple wax seal could be so pretty? These would make a great gifts for your bridesmaids. Don’t you agree?
