On Etsy – Janet Hill Studio
Posted on June 7th, 2010I happened to land on the blog Blah, Blah, Blahg on my travels this weekend and stayed a lot longer than I had the tie to but it was just so filled with goodies that I could not resist. Check out this fun blog BUT only after you see what I found while there.
While visiting Blah, Blah, Blahg I came across the author’s post about Janet Hill’s Shop on Etsy. Now just because you like a blog does not mean that you will agree on how fantastic they may find any given artist. However, I have to agree with the author…these works of art by Janet Hill are gorgeous! So gorgeous that I wanted to step into the print called “Morning Room” with my Sunday morning tea!
Janet Hill’s artwork is simply beautiful. Janet takes the everyday simplicity of life and makes it speak volumes of beauty.
There is much more beauty to be found on Janet Hill’s Etsy shop or on her website here.

On Etsy – A Package From Paris….Ooh La La!
Posted on March 22nd, 2010One of the greatest rewards of blogging is you “meet” the nicest people from everywhere with which you share the same passions. One of mine is all things that have to do with Paris!
One of my blogger friends, Mandy, happens to have a very chic and amazingly beautiful blog called A La Parisienne. It is about all things Parisienne and then some! Besides learning last week that I have “some-what” of a sweet tooth here is something else you might not know about me; I LOVE PARIS! I am crazy about the city. Seriously, my goal is to save enough money so we can buy a flat there one day soon. So after coming across Mandy’s blog I was hooked.
I needed some chic, lady-like accessories to wear to a friend’s wedding this week in Alabama. The first place I looked was A La Parisienne’s Etsy boutique and I found exactly what I needed to compliment my LBD. Tres chic!

I cannot wait until to get to Alabama (had them delivered there just in case) to try out my handmade beauties! Mandy’s creations do not last long at her Etsy boutique. If you see something you like (I am sure you will!) I suggest you grab it. I can guarantee it will not be there for very long!
Merci, Mandy!

On Etsy – SweetAmbs Cookies
Posted on March 17th, 2010I designated today “Sweet Tooth Day” here at EDWA. That’s a sign of what most of the posts will be about. Dieter’s beware!
Ooh la, la! I am in cookie heaven! I love cookies, sometimes, too much! When I saw these cookies at the Etsy store SweetAmbs,I had to find out more about the maker of these delectable’s and if there were more of these where they came from. Guess what? There’s a lot more on Amber’s (she’s the amazingly talented pastry artist) blog of the same name, SweetAmbs.
Amber’s cookies are works of art. They are so detailed and you can see the time she has spent on each one. One of my favorite cookies is the baby shower cookie. The cookie is an exact replica of the monogram on the baby shower invite.
We all know that sometimes cookies or cakes are suppose to look like one thing but turn out to be something totally different. Not Amber’s cookies. You won’t mistaken them for anything but beautiful!
Inspired by Wedgewood
Cookies fit for a queen and in pink. What other color could they be?
Perfect cameo cookies.
Monograms & embroidery are a perfect match.
This cookie looks exactly like the invitation. Great idea for a shower or wedding favor.
The details on these cookies are amazing!
P.s. While visiting the SweetAmbs blog, be sure to check out a few of the yummy recipes for other tasty treats that Amber has created, too!

On Etsy – Sea Unicorn
Posted on March 10th, 2010Every blogger that I know has favorite blogs that they check out on a consistent basis if not daily. One of mine is BrancoPrata’s blog, HOTSPOT. Check out their blog and you will see why they are one of my favorites. Beautiful invitations and amazing inspiration boards.
As I was checking out what was new on their side of the world (Porto, Portugal) I, read about one of their latest discoveries on Etsy; a most interesting store called Sea Unicorn. Lockets, necklaces, and other jewelry beautiful enough to invoke your own enchanted fairytale. Visit their Etsy shop for more. So very pretty, so very unique, and so very magical.
