I’ll be back soon…
Posted on September 26th, 2011Hi there and thanks for stopping by. I have been on a much needed holiday overseas in Europe and because of that blog posts have been sporadic. Not to worry the EDWA blog isn’t going anywhere, in fact we’ll be back next Monday with brand new lovelies to share with you. Remember, life is too short to live outside the lovely…so don’t! See you soon! XO Naomi

Below this image I’ve listed a few ways you can help.

Convoy of Hope is accepting gifts online or by cell phone. Text TSUNAMI to 50555 to donate to this faith-based group, working with in-country partners to meet earthquake victims’ needs.
Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is sending two three-person teams to the Iwate and Miyagi prefectures in Japan. To learn more about the organization’s efforts or make a donation, visit Doctorswithoutborders.org.
Other relief organizations are also sending representatives to disaster sites, including AmeriCare and Shelterbox.

Beautiful Blogger Award – Wow What A Day!
Posted on July 13th, 2010I’m feeling really special right about now. Why, You might ask? Well, my dear fellow blogger, lover of all things BANANAS (my word for super cool things), and friend Sofia of Brancoprata (yes that Sofia!) has passed on to me The Beautiful Blog Award.
There is nothing better than being recognized by your peers for the hard work you do for something you love. Now it’s my turn to add a little lovely to my fellow bloggers and friends day!
Here are my picks for the…
Eat Drink Pretty -The Wedding Chicks
Southern Weddings – Merci! New York
In receiving this award I must tell you ten random things about myself. This should be interesting…
1. I instantly cry at the sight of creepy crawly nasty icky bugs. I have knocked on neighbors doors to kill creatures for me.
2. I wanted to be a nun when I was younger then I discovered I had an addiction to boys. There were many interventions (thanks mom!)
3. Orange gummy bears gross me out. Any orange candy does but orange gummy bears are the worst.
4. I will sing or dance anywhere spontaneously but I’m afraid of Karaoke.
5. I met my husband on Match.com (but he refuses to do a commercial) and fell in love with his nose first.
6. One of my favorite movies is “Goodfellas” . I think in my last life I was a mobster or royalty…maybe both..
7. I think I was here before. (see #6)
8. I am Dutch (mom), Latin (dad), black (obvious), and French (mom’s side). My great grandfather is from France. Makes sense why I’m crazy about France. I’m a happy mutt!
9. I want to be the first to receive toe transplants because I hate mine.
10. If you are my friend your family, but if you are family you are not automatically my friend…except for my immediate family (mom, sis, dad, hubby). Make sense?
Pssst- I know it said only 10 but here’s a bonus I can understand, speak, write, and read 7 different languages but not all in that order. Yea, I know what your thinking…sweet right?
