Style Me Pretty – from Inspiration to Reality
Posted on January 27th, 2010If you don’t know it by now I am a fan of Style Me Pretty. Abby Larson and her husband Tait are some of the nicest people in the wedding inspiration business. Whenever I have emailed a question, they have answered. So my loyalty is genuine.
This board comes from Emilia, a member of Style Circle. I have no other words to call this amazing board than ethereal. It is feminine and soft but not overly girly. The colors and the elements just….well they just flow!

When Abby started the series from Inspiration to Reality I asked myself, “How will they be able to pull this off?” However, with all the talented vendors they know in the biz, I guess only they could. Well they did and ever one has been a hit!

I love the pretty simplicity of the place setting and using the rubber boots with the flowers. The colors are perfect together! Details and more details are key to having memorable wedding pictures worthy of being on Style Me Pretty.

With the help of Jessamyn Harris, Jess Flood, Fleur DeLisa Cakes, Flair Brides Maids, and group of other talented vendors (click here for the list) .

I am not really blue and not really green…what color am I?
Posted on December 21st, 2009You must be the color turquoise! Pantone picked turquoise as 2010′s color of the year. I cannot wait to see all the different palettes that turquoise will be a part of in weddings in 2010!
So is turquoise blue or green or both? Ask a few people and you will get a different answer every time. Here’s the definition from Free Dictionary:
tur·quoise (tûr
kwoiz
, -koiz
) n1. A blue to blue-green mineral of aluminum and copper, mainly CuAl6(PO4)4(OH)8·4H2O, prized as a gemstone in its polished blue form. (Come again?)2. A light to brllliant bluish green. (Perfectly explained!)Turquoise is a brillianty beautiful color that compliments and works well as a cool accent or a vibrant main color in your wedding palette (I love cherry red paired with turquoise for major pizazz!). I used it as a cool accent color in this beach theme muse board created on Style Me Pretty.
